A Radical in Bermuda

It is with great pleasure that today, on the one year anniversary of this blog, that I can announce the expansion of the Bermudian blogosphere with the formation of a new blog ‘A Radical in Bermuda.’

Rowland, a frequent commentator on this site has decided to build a blog of his own. I welcome this development and look forward to the social and political discourse that this will allow. I am sure that he will continue to visit this blog as well, as I appreciate his insight, and I look forward to visiting his blog as well.

I think the Bermuda blogosphere is increasingly developing a more diverse political spectrum and this can only benefit our people as a whole, as well as sharpening the skills of our respective bloggers.

Welcome Rowland, and have fun!

  1. Thanks for the promotion Jonny, well hopefully things will go successfuly, and congrats on the one year anniversary of your blog. Heres to another good year.

  2. I like the new colour theme by the way.

I’m very happy to have a second leftist blog in the Bermudian blogosphere – its been a bit lonely so far. 🙂

Quite honestly I’m looking forward to some interesting theoretical discussions between us, and hopefully others. And just to make sure there’s no misunderstanding (not from you but from others) we may disagree on a few things, but we agree on most, and the polemics/discourse we’ll have when we disagree is done with the intention of raising consciousness all round and not for sectarianism.

A year from now we should be toasting your blogs anniversary comrade! Cheers!
